This is an opportunity to explore the science centre if you, a friend, or a family member has additional needs...or perhaps you just prefer to visit without the crowds

We cannot guarantee the noise level of other visitors, but these dates are chosen because there will not be any large pre-booked groups on site:

The beginning of September is generally a Quiet Month as the new academic year commences... why not schedule your Quiet visit 3rd to 12th September and perhaps call us nearer the date to check the latest booking status?

• Advanced booking gives you the best price or you can pay on arrival;
• Pre-purchased admission is non-transferrable;
• 1 carer free of charge with 1 full paying adult / senior / child;
• Children must be accompanied & supervised by an adult at all times;
• The science centre will be open from 10 am to 5 pm; 
• Last admission 3 pm;
• All exhibit areas are open;
• The Café will be open;
• There is an indoor picnic space in the marquee;
• The Gift Shop will be open;
• Accessible toilet with height adjustable changing bed and hoist;
• Limited Blue Badge parking bays are located at the back of the main building– or parking on the main field for those that do not require ramped entrance;
• SEND groups are welcome to enquire about visiting on our Quiet Days.
