Our outreach team offer you Spectacular Science opportunities. They will inspire and enthuse with material presented in a fun and entertaining way, tailored to the abilities of the group and geared towards specific learning objectives including key words and concepts.
All of our team have a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced Certificate and many are registered STEM Ambassadors.
ScienceWorks are sets of exciting hands-on table-top exhibits, brought to your venue that can help you create an interactive science centre in your classroom.
An interactive astronomy experience that delivers the awe and wonder of the night sky: our mission is to bring you the solar system, stars and even the frontiers of the universe.
"This is the second time we have used the outreach educational programme and both times have really been enhancing to the children's learning. I have also been to the observatory with a class and found it the best organised visit I have taken children to. Excellent - thoroughly recommended!"
"It was a fantastic experience - thank you!"
"The ForceWorks (interactive exhibits) are absolutely fabulous - the children had a blast! We went through most classes and a few older ones would like to go again. They learnt a lot and there were plenty of questions raised."
"Children had a fantastic day with the SoundWorks- really provided a great opportunity to apply learning from the classroom."
Our team have participated in many community events and we are always happy to discuss options 'beyond the classroom'.
Our ScienceWorks exhibits and Inflatable Planetarium have been to fund raising events, open days, Astronomy / Science Fairs etc.
We can discuss short or long term hire of the exhibits for non-school venues such as museums, libraries etc.
Please contact us with your ideas.
"It was a brilliant day. Communication throughout this booking has been productive and easily accessible. Thank you for taking the time to answer pupils questions, not only on the day, but also post visit via email."
"Totally inspiring for all ages. We needed much longer!"
"Our Year 1 / Year 2 class had just started a topic on space and this (visit) certainly brought in the 'wonder & awe' to their learning. There was time for the children's questions to be answered as well as giving them an introduction to stars, stories round the constellations, visiting planets and the International Space Station."
"I really enjoyed the planets when we looked at them right at that moment."
"The level of knowledge demonstrated by the presenters was amazing- no questions were too difficult for them and they explained everything in a 'child friendly way'. It has really inspired the children to find out more about the solar system. Thank you!"
"Fantastic learning experience for the children - really stretched their knowledge. Thank you!"
This won't take long...
