PLEASE NOTE: Last admission is 2 hours ahead of the advertised closing time.
We will be open daily through the East Sussex school holidays.
SCHOOLS / GROUPS
We accept pre-booked groups / schools every day: booking essential.
It really helps us if you book in advance through this website (PayPal required) as we are still carefully monitoring visitor numbers and controlling session dates in line with employee availability.
Online booking closes at 23.59 on the evening ahead of each date. If you miss the deadline, or don't want to use PayPal to pre-book you can pay on arrival; but please do check we are open and call ahead before starting your journey...
Stargazing evenings must be pre-booked and have no 'walk-in' capacity.

The Observatory Science Centre is located in a beautiful rural location.
In extreme bad weather or 'Amber / Red' weather warnings advising against non-essential travel, it may not be possible to open for the safety of visitors, employees and volunteers.
We would use our social media for the latest information if we were unable to open.
