We have a Spectacular daily programme of activities for the local school holiday including Telescope Tours and Science Shows.
Once you have paid your admission there is no extra charge for these tours / shows.
Science Shows are normally 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm
Telescope Tours are normally midday, 2 pm and 4 pm
Please check times when you arrive.
Our catering unit 'The Launch Box' will be open every lunchtime serving delicious burgers, fries & hotdogs.
The Launch Box will be open until 3 pm and The Cafe until 4.30 pm.
Please note that parking for February half term will be the car park on Wartling Road..
Please do NOT park on any grass in or around the Herstmonceux Estate.
Blue Badge parking is behind the main science centre building but limited space for just 4 vehicles.
Ground conditions are muddy. Please take care.
We are having an extended opening on Friday 21st February when The Centre will be open to 8 pm, with last admission 6 pm.
We will be hoping for clear skies and viewing through historic telescopes.
Our inflatable planetarium will be in action all day with timed presentations from 11 am onwards: additional £2 pp.
Cafe closes 7 pm.
Our usual parking field is temporarily closed following unprecedented rainfall
Please use the hardstanding car park on Wartling Road: just south of the estate entrance
Blue Badge parking bays available as usual behind the main building
All parking is free!
