3D Animation
26th August - Short day workshop for 7-11 years old. Sign up to produce your very own short animation to keep. You will use animation clay and craft materials to produce clay models based around the themes of space travel and astronomy. You will then work in small groups to bring your models to life and turn them into stop-motion animations; using cameras, animation software and animation theatres. There will also be the chance to add music to the animations, time permitting.

These workshops are being run by Lara Leslie of Press Play Films.
The animations will be sent to children and parents to download and keep afterwards.

SPECIAL OFFER: For this workshop ONLY the cost of the workshop includes entry into The Centre after the workshop BUT ONLY when accompanied by a paying adult. We are offering a special discounted rate of just £6 pp if admission to the Centre is purchased at the time of pre-booking this workshop. This special offer admission applies to any adults who are dropping off children booked onto a workshop and who wish to stay in the Centre and any children within the same group that are not attending the workshop but wish to stay in the Centre (up to a reasonable limit).
FOR EXAMPLE: if the booking is for 1 child attending the workshop and staying in the Centre after the workshop, 1 child not attending the workshop and 1 adult, then you pay:
£25 for the workshop
£6 for the adult
£6 for the extra child not attending the workshopThis discount only applies if pre-booked AT THE SAME TIME AS BOOKING THE WORKSHOP.
