By Car
There is ample free parking on the grassed car park in front of the Observatory. In wet conditions, the hard standing car park on Wartling Road can be used which is signposted from the road. It is a five minute walk to the Observatory from the hard standing car park.
If you are a blue badge holder, there are 5 parking bays available at the back of the science centre, adjacent to our ramped entrance.

Flexibus is an on-demand ride-share service for areas of East Sussex with limited access to public transport. It can collect you and take you within a 14-mile radius of your pickup point if there is no direct bus or train for your journey.
FlexibusCuckmere Bus Service 49 links The Observatory Science Centre to Pevensey and Eastbourne via the Seafront, Langney Shops, Westham and Wartling. The bus will drop off / pick up immediately outside our reception and enables visitors without their own transport to visit this fantastic attraction.
