Whether your are looking for a tasty lunch or to be tempted by a sweet treat and a warm drink, we are looking forward to welcoming you to our café.
Our café
Our café is in the former Optics Laboratory of the Observatory so you can eat and drink at the original marble workbench!
It has a great selection of sandwiches, toasties as well as biscuits and cakes and you can buy a tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a selection of cold drinks.
Picnics
Feel free to bring your picnic – we have a picnic terrace for visitors just behind the main building and overlooking our outdoor Discovery Park.
If you are bringing a group, let us know and we will make sure there is a specific area for you, come rain or shine!
