Activity Badges

The following is an indication of the specific Activity Badges we can currently help your group with when they visit The Centre.  Guidelines for badge requirements are taken from the scouting web sites and some of the badges require necessary pre / follow up activity from your group meetings. 
Cost - Just £1 pp per badgework in addition to the admission price.

Worksheets may be issued for use at The Centre to help with the badge work, and astronomy related Activity Badges will also include a visit into the telescope domes.  We will present a Certificate of Achievement to each child at the end of your visit.

If you have ideas of your own about science based workshops which would help your group, please discuss them with us and we may be able to incorporate them into our future programme.
We would also like to help other uniformed (non-scouting) groups if they have Activity Badges in similar areas.
