Activity Badges

Listed below is an indication of Activity Badges that we can currently help your group with during their visit to The Centre.

Naturally pre / post activity is required in your group meetings: our activities / worksheets will compliment your activities and we issue a Certificate of Achievement to each child at the end of the visit.

Astronomy related Activity Badges also include a visit into the telescope domes.

Please discuss with us if you wish to issue your badges during the visit: or if you wish to invest. Our telescope domes can be available and give a fantastic photo opportunity.

Cost: £1 pp per badgework session in addition to the admission price of £4.95.

We are happy to discuss alternatives or to combine activities to help with more than one badge so if you have ideas of your own about science based workshops which would help your group, please discuss them with us.

We would also like to help other uniformed (non-scouting) groups if they have Activity Badges in similar areas.
