Schools Science Show

Outside of The Centre's peak periods it may be possible to book a Spectacular Science Show in place of a Telescope Tour.  The shows take place in the geodesic dome (which is also the school base and picnic area) and are available in January, February, September, November and December.

Themes can be chosen from those in the outreach programme and are suitable for KS1, KS2 and SEN (subject to discussion).

The shows are very entertaining and always require audience participation. They bring an extra element of educational fun to your day which can help launch your own science week, or even be the grande finale to your activities.

They last approximately 30 - 40 minutes and cost an additional 75 pence per pupil.

If you are bringing the whole school or a large year group, please enquire as to availability at other times of the year.
