"Drop-in" Activities
Throughout the year the Centre offers a family "Make and Take" activity area. This is open most Mondays during the local school holidays between 11am and 4pm. There are lots of fun make and take activities to do as well as some simple science experiments, colouring and intriguing puzzles. This activity is £1 per child in addition to the normal admission charge. Please note that any child aged 2 years and over will be charged for the Zany Zone.
Children MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.

The Ecology Zone, will be stationed in the red and white tent at the rear of the building between 11am and 4pm each friday during the local school summer holidays. This activity gives you the opportunity to look at many interesting things through a microscope as well as learning about nature through fun games, including "Build a Butterfly". You can also draw and colour what you see from specimens available.
There is NO extra charge for this activity. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times. These activities may change at short notice.
