Our 2007 Astronomy Festival was truly memorable. The Festival Organisers, Dr Sandra Voss (Science Director of the Observatory Science Centre) and Jo Harris (Operations Director of the Observatory Science Centre) felt that it was the best Festival to date - they are already planning the 2008 Festival! In addition to our excellent invited speakers, we were privileged to welcome Sir Patrick Moore as our guest on Saturday. Also the BBC Sky at Night marquee was packed for talks by a number of well known personalities including Marcus Chown, Piers Bizony, Paul Parsons, Paul Money and of course Sir Patrick Moore.
